LA RUSTICHELLA: A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE IN THE TRUFFLE WORLD
PASSION FOR THE TRUFFLE
Truffles, a family art
The dream of Sergio Brugnoli
The story of La Rustichella began in 1986, when, after several years of experience in the truffle sector, Sergio Brugnoli, originally from Norcia (Umbria), and his wife, Maria Marsili, decided to transform their family workshop into a thriving business with a focus on the international market. The first factory was founded in San Cesareo, in the province of Rome, but it was with their first trips abroad, particularly in America, that Sergio and Maria discovered the foreign interest and curiosity for authentic Italian products.
Over the year, the desire to promote a product as special as truffles abroad gave Sergio Brugnoli well-deserved recognition, due to excellent service and the marketing of a superior quality product. The decision to use only natural ingredients and manufacturing processes that respect the truffle's authentic flavour underlines La Rustichella’s dedication to purity and quality. This commitment is clearly reflected in the 'Must Have' Black Truffle Patè, a product that continues to be a worldwide best seller and the most sought-after in the La Rustichella range. Even today, years after its introduction on the market, it maintains its prestige and popularity thanks to its extraordinary quality.
The secret of an extraordinary gastronomic experience
With a 15% black truffle content, this paté is a sublime ingredient that can make even the simplest of dishes unique. Its presence, even in small quantities, transforms every dish into an extraordinary gastronomic experience, imparting an irresistible aroma and taste. La Rustichella is committed to ensuring that every spoonful of this paté offers an authentic and intense truffle flavour, bringing luxury and excellence directly to the table of every passionate gourmet.
Today, harvesting, selection, processing and distribution have become the four crucial stages on which La Rustichella has built its success over the years, leading the company to reach ever higher production levels and quality standards.
The careful selection of 100% 'Made in Italy' raw materials, the consolidated network of gatherers, the meticulous organisation of the production cycle in a state-of-the-art factory, have all made La Rustichella a pivotal reference point for the production and sale of truffles, at an international level.
The production site may be in Italy, but the La Rustichella brand is renowned, particularly abroad, with branches in the main countries of the world: The UK, Brazil, the US and Singapore. La Rustichella is considered a leader in the high quality truffle market.
Sergio Brugnoli, a pork butcher for generations and always connected to Italian gastronomy, wanted to spread the experience he had accumulated over the years in the truffle sector. This is how the 'Love Truffles' concept arrived; an idea for a franchise of restaurants designed to create a varied and appetising menu based on truffles, either fresh, cooked, or as a base for its patés.
The Love Truffles chefs offer a wide selection of the best Italian and international dishes, made special by a 'fusion' touch of truffles. The delicious menus of 'Love Truffles' can be replicated anywhere in the world with its innovative franchise system: in professional kitchens, or with the help of chefs (even unqualified ones), who can be trained with the help of on-site staff. Within your restaurant you can also display and sell a selection of La Rustichella products, allowing your customers to experiment and get creative at home.
